Dear Parents. Jasmine was in a relationship with a dirty homeless boy named Aladdin. Snow White lived alone with 7 men. Pinnochio was a liar. Robin Hood was a thief. Tarzan walked around without clothes on. A stranger kissed sleeping beauty and she married him. Cinderella lied and snuck out at night to attend a party. You can’t blame us. We were taught to be a rebel since a young age.

Blessed beyond measure.
It’s not always going to be “I love yous” & “You’re absolutely amazing.” You’re not always going to have those romantic evenings that you expect to have. Sometimes, you’re going to be in one of those moods that make you despise each other, yet, by the end of the day, when it all turns around eventually, love will be worth it in the end.
You’re more than just a man, more than just a best friend, someone I just really like the heck out of.
Everybody in my life knows it, they say it, how I show it..that I live in such an inexplicable fairytale world. I can’t help it, no matter how hard I try to fight it, learn to leave it, dance each step into another realm not wanting to come back to reality; my mind, since I was a young child, wants different, wants better, wants more of what is unreal.
It CAN come true, It CAN be done, it CAN be real. We all are put in certain situations, with certain people to go through & find our paths, our lives, to be better & to love. I’m such a positive reinforcement to all the ones I love, to children, to even strangers; yet I struggle with the one desire that I long for each day/night. You don’t see it, you won’t hear about it, UNTIL that promise has come to life that is dearly tied to my ankle everyday.
It weighs me down each night as I step into the corridor of my parents house & then again a fairy tale world once I step into my bedroom. A reminder that one day… IT’S all a possibility. The past six years were of an abundant amazement, but it’s only because I still held onto that one promise.
